Here we see a Saturn Vue in the wild helping out it's injured Silverado stablemate.
In all seriousness though, we really need to get a new battery for the truck. Its to the point where it needs a jump every time it needs to start.

Have you checked that the alternator is charging properly and that there isn't any excessive drain?

The alternator is working just fine at charging it, showing a full 12 volts on the gauge, so I ruled that out instantly, plus it's never died while driving it. There might be a drain from the security system, but its never done it before in the 10 years we've own it. I'm just ruling it to the batter needs to be replaced due to age.

If that Vue is yours, you should definitely get the Opel badging for it!

Ah, all good then. if the batteries got quite a few years on their back, and it's cold out they could very easily be the issue.

The Vue is my mom's car. It'd be awesome to have the Opel badging for it, there's no way she would let me put it on there.

I'm pretty sure it's at least 5 years old. And it has been really cold here recently.

Yeah, whenever something like the Saturn Astra, normally a euro model reaches the Usa, different badging always stirs up questions.

My parents didn't know it was a re-badged Opel until I told them a few years after they bought it. The good thing about them having to Americanize it was adding the wonderful 3.6 to the equation.

Haha, That car is the Chevrolet Captiva, Saturn Vue, Opel something or other, and I'm pretty sure a Vauxhaul and Holden also. It is the car of many faces.

I think Daewoo sells a version of it, too.

Oh yeah, Daewoo Winstorm, and Holden Captiva. How many more clones of this thing can they possibly make? Opel Antara, that's the one. In the Middle east, it is also the Gmc terrain.

It's a good car, might as well whore it out to each company to get max payoff for the platform. America is the only one who can't buy one new anymore. It's nicer than a lot of things GM was putting out when it first debuted. Soft touch materials, nice plastics, and an attractive exterior. Still nice by today's standards so might as well still produce it.

Yeah, the Chevrolet Captiva still exists in the United States, except I believe that it is only available to Fleet purchasers, including rental companies, I know for a fact that there are a few Captiva company cars sitting around. It is a fairly good looking Suv though, it's not over styled, and by my standards it looks nice.
